wow...its been MONTHS since my last Journal... guess that's the consequence of being very active in my training and all..

anyways.. As ya can see...I'm a Philippine Air Force Reservist... my current rank is C/2Lt. but when I graduate in my training I'll be a Sgt. in the ARCEN... and after that.. if im lucky i'll take the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) examination...and if i pass all three examinations...then...life would be awesome..

Life as a cadet is bitter sweet...ya have to be physically and mentally fit.. physically of course...we have to train in the rudiments of military service...and as a cadet..we must be fit... mentally..well.. the Air Force branch is more on brains...(no offense to the Army and Navy) but that's just our specialty... basic military knowledge's..and a lot of stuff to be learned and memorized... (we receive demerits when we fail to comply on memorizing such compliance..)..also.. ya have to be well organized and neat..when it comes to your uniform... boots must be shined ( I consume 2 hours to shine my boots) uniform must be clean..and ironed..any visible stains or untidy.stuff on your uniform will have a demerit..and punishment.. finger nails constantly trimmed...facial hair must be shaved and all of the other 'personal hygiene' stuff...

Its quite hard to balance academics and physical trainings... we wake up 3Am and PT will start at 4am and stops at 6am (breakfast) after breakfast we will have a 30 or 1 hour break to take a shower...and suit up for our classes... (7.30am) we eat our lunch at the office at 12nn.. oh and every time we eat at the office... we always do the 'Square meal'.. where we sit only 1/4 of our seat..with our back arched and ya know how soldiers ear right? lol sometimes.. 'reverse meal' which is kinda rough..

after our lunch COD's (Camud Officer of the Day) will wash our dishes and clean up..while we prepare for our lecture (1-5pm)

or CO Lt. Col Rummuel J. Perez is strict when it comes to our grades... whilst our corp commander C/Col Mata keeps us organized at all times... being the lowest mamal in the chain of command is rough...but its just a matter of attitude that keeps me from quiting... imagine..41 cadets enlisted to be a officer..but now..only a handful of 13 left (including me) but as of now... 11 new cadets were added....
